Casting Your Cares On The Lord - Worry
Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties,
all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him,
for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.
1 Peter 5:7 (AMPC)

Our Father God takes care of us, because we are His children. We are God’s children. We need to be like a child and give our worries to God.
Jesus said we are not to worry we are God’s children and He will take care of us.

Overcoming Worry
Worry Free Living - Study God's Word, Prayer for You and How to Stay on Your Mountain Top in Life.
A Better Way To Live
Written by David Breed
Jesus gives you a better way to live when He says to you:
25 “So I tell you, don’t worry about the things you need to live—what you will eat, drink, or wear. Life is more important than food, and the body is more important than what you put on it. 26 Look at the birds. They don’t plant, harvest, or save food in barns, but your heavenly Father feeds them. Don’t you know you are worth much more than they are? 27 You cannot add any time to your life by worrying about it.
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? Look at the wildflowers in the field. See how they grow. They don’t work or make clothes for themselves. 29 But I tell you that even Solomon, the great and rich king, was not dressed as beautifully as one of these flowers. 30 If God makes what grows in the field so beautiful, what do you think he will do for you? It’s just grass—one day it’s alive, and the next day someone throws it into a fire. But God cares enough to make it beautiful. Surely he will do much more for you. Your faith is so small!
31 “Don’t worry and say, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ 32 That’s what those people who don’t know God are always thinking about. Don’t worry, because your Father in heaven knows that you need all these things. 33 What you should want most is God’s kingdom and doing what he wants you to do. Then he will give you all these other things you need. 34 So don’t worry about tomorrow. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Tomorrow will have its own worries. - Matthew 6:25-34 (ERV)
Let’s give all our cares to God and live a great life of carefree living.
Prayer:
“Thank you Father God, I will give all my cares to you!!! What I want most in life is to seek after Your Kingdom and do what You want me to do! Thank you that you give me everything I need! I do not need to worry anymore. You are such a good Father, I love you and I know you love me!!”
I Do Not Worry
Written by David Breed
People will think you are weird, walking the carefree in life. They will think you are different. Yes, you are because you are with God and listening to a better way to live life.
BE CAREFUL FOR NOTHING; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. - Philippians 4:6 (KJV)
Another bible translation on this verse says:
Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. Philippians 4:6 (AMPC)
When you walk by faith—when you do what the Bible says —you're an oddity to others, even in the church world. They think something is wrong with you because you don't worry.
"Casting the whole of your care—all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all—on Him; for He cares for you affectionately, and cares about you watchfully.” - 1 Peter 5:7 (AMP)
When you turn it over to Him, you don't have it anymore. He's got it. Then you can say, "I'm carefree," even when it's still there from the natural standpoint. Because you're not carrying that load; He is.
Jesus said, My Father is always working, and so I to am working too!
Jesus answered them, “My Father has been working until now [He has never ceased working], and I too am working.” John 5:16-18 (AMP)
Say this after me, “I do not worry! Because God is working on my problem right now. God is working on it so I do not have to worry about it. Thank you Father God you are working!
Free From Worry
Written by David Breed
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” - Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV)
God doesn't want you to worry about anything. God wants you to enjoy His peace every minute of the day as long as you live. He wants you to possess His peace and learn how not to worry. God is ready to teach you this truth today.
To help you understand the nature of worry, think for a moment about the areas of your life that cause you to worry. They are the things in your own personal life that you love or care about - your family, your children, your business, circumstances, people around you, friends, and church.
You may see someone on a new broadcast from another country that is going through really tough times in their life. You may shake your head and say, “That is too bad I hope things get better for them,” but you don't worry about it because it seems so far away. However, when something happens in your own home, you begin to worry. You have to love someone in order to worry about that person.
So, why do you worry? Because you fail to give something or someone to God. You try to carry the load of life on your own strength, but you are not big enough to do so. God has made provision to help you. He wants to carry it for you. But, if you don't give it to God, He will let you go ahead and carry it.
The result is that you will be beaten down into the ground because you can't carry all the problems that come your way. You need to forget them. Take your problems and give them to God in their entirety. When you give them to Him, He does away with them very quickly.
The problems that you try to handle on your own become the mountains in your life. If you try to handle them, they get bigger and bigger. And the valleys get deeper and deeper.
“Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully.” - 1 Peter 5:7 (AMPC)
Give your problems to God. He will smash the mountains down. He will reach down and pull the valleys up. The light of God can shine across your problem, and only then can you see clearly. God doesn't have any valleys.
There is nothing unsuccessful about Him. He never changes, and the Bible never changes. The only reason we have valleys is because we don't trust God - we don't give our problems to Him.
Make a change today give all your worries to God today and do not worry anymore. Let God make the changes necessary to change the outcome of what you working about, He can do it! God is much bigger than any problem you may be facing. Put God in charge of your life and He will make you successful.
Give Your Problem to God
Written by Kenneth E. Hagin
When you walk by faith—when you do what the Bible says—you’re an oddity to others, even in the church world. They think something is wrong with you because you don’t worry.
When I took the pastorate of a certain Full Gospel church, I didn’t know that nobody else would pastor this church. It was a “trouble” church.
Let Go of Your Problem
No one is immune to adversity. But when adversity knocks on your door, you don’t have to worry. Instead, turn your anxieties, cares, and concerns over to the Lord. Every time you’re tempted to worry about your situation, pray this prayer:
Lord, I’m turning all of my anxieties over to You and I’m putting my cares into Your hands. I refuse to worry anymore. I refuse to be overly concerned about my situation. I refuse to carry the care. You said to cast it all on You because You love me. You care for me affectionately, and you care about me watchfully. I thank you for turning this situation around and meeting my every need.
When the devil tries to bring thoughts of worry back to your mind, just laugh at him. Remind the devil that the Lord is taking care of your situation, and you are not going to be concerned about it anymore!
In those days, it was a common practice to have a pastors’ fellowship meeting the first Monday of every month. I’d go and all the pastors would say to me, “How goes the battle?”
I’d say, “Men, I don’t have a care.” They’d stand there and blink their eyes. They’d say to one another, “I don’t believe he’s got enough sense to worry!”
One of my neighboring pastors told them, “I know he has a care. He’s got the hardest church to pastor in this entire area. He’s got this problem and that problem.” (He knew more about my church problems than I did!)
I’d get up to preach on Sunday mornings and be tempted to yield to the flesh. But I would turn to First Corinthians chapter 13 and preach on love, or I’d turn to Revelation 21 and 22 and preach on Heaven.
The first year I pastored that church, I spent most of my time preaching on love and Heaven! And when you can get everybody loving one another and heading to Heaven, things straighten out pretty well!
When I turned the care of that church over to the Lord, we had constant revival! Every weekend we had people saved, baptized with the Holy Spirit, and healed. God blessed us so that when I left that church, 40 preachers put in their application for it.
Casting Your Cares on God
If you don’t learn to commit your cares and anxieties to the Lord, there will come a time when all of your prayers and the prayers of others will be to no avail. You’re going to be right where you were when you started as long as you hold on to those things yourself.
The Amplified Bible renders First Peter 5:7 as, “Casting the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares
about you watchfully.”
When you turn your cares over to Him, you don’t have them anymore. He’s got them. Then you can say, “I’m carefree,” even when the cares are still there from a natural standpoint. You’re not carrying the load—He is.
We used to sing a song that went, “Take your burden to the Lord and leave it there.” Many people take their burdens to the Lord and tell Him about them—but when they get up from that place of prayer, they pick their burdens up again!
It helps to imagine your burden as a 100-pound sack. People put it on their back and carry it home with them from their place of prayer. No! Leave it there! “Casting the whole of your care . . . once and
for all on Him,” that verse says. Refuse to worry.
My wife, Oretha, learned not to worry. I heard her say to another preacher’s wife one time, “I finally learned it works. I don’t ever worry.” At that time in our lives, we had problems and needs that were piled up knee-deep! But Oretha wasn’t worrying because she learned to cast her cares upon the Lord.
We can do it! We can cast all of our cares on the Lord because He said to do it. God is not unjust. He’s not going to tell us to do something that we can’t do.

Weary of Worry
Written by Gloria Copeland
Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place" (2 Cor. 2:14).
As you fight the good fight of faith today, remember this: Your mind is where the battle will take place. Whatever you allow to rule your mind will rule your life. Will it be the Word of God or the lies of Satan?
The decision is yours.
If you want the Word to reign, make up your mind now to resist the devil when he comes to plant doubts within you. Refuse to surrender to the circumstantial pressure he brings your way. Decide at the onset that you will not succumb to this trial. Dig your heels in and stand immovable upon the promises of God.
When thoughts come that are contrary to God's will, cast them down. And above all, don't worry. Worrying is meditating the thoughts of Satan. When you recognize you are worrying, stop it immediately. Replace worried, fearful and doubtful thoughts with the Word.
Be assured, Satan will continually try to tell you that your situation is hopeless. He will persistently peddle doubt, defeat and discouragement. But if you won't allow him to sell you his goods, his commission will be zero. If you don't buy his lies, he can't cause them to come to pass in your life.
God has promised that He will always cause you to triumph in Christ. You are guaranteed victory over the adversity you are facing today. Make up your mind right now to be a winner and you'll spread the knowledge of victory in Christ everywhere you go.

What Do You Have to Worry About?
Written by Kenneth Copeland
The same thing is true for us as believers as it was with Jesus: If we'll just believe the Word of God and obey Him, we can have the sweetest, most restful life imaginable, and kick the stuffing out of the devil while we're at it!
I realize that's hard for some Christians to swallow. They've been so brainwashed with religious tradition over the years that real spiritual truth goes down hard.
They can't imagine how they could ever live like Jesus did. After all, He was Jesus! They're unworthy worms! They're just old sinners saved by grace.
The Bible vs. Religion
That's what religion has told them. But that's not what the Bible tells us. It says we're united with Jesus. We are one Body with Him. As Hebrews 2:11 says, "... both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren."
You can live in Jesus' own rest because, if you've made Him Lord of your life, you're one with Him. The New Testament says again and again, you are in Him. That means you are everything to God that Jesus is. You have His Name. You're washed in His blood. You're in His house.
God loves you every bit as much as He loves Jesus (John 17:23). It seems almost unthinkable, but it's true. And if God loves us just like He loves Jesus, if He's given us His Word, and His anointing, what could we possibly have to worry about?
Nothing, man! Absolutely nothing!
Since we're one with Jesus, we ought to be acting just like Jesus acts. We ought to be living just like He lives. Do you think He's running around heaven, wringing His hands with worry? Do you think He's looking at circumstances down here on earth saying, "Oh, no. It's looking really bad on earth. I'm not sure God will be able to pull off His plan now. I'm not sure His plan is going to turn out the way He said."
Hardly!
The Bible says God sits in the heavens and laughs at His enemies. He's not worried, He's laughing—and Jesus is right beside Him. Hebrews 10:12-13 shows us exactly what He is doing: "But this man (Jesus), after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool."
Jesus is sitting down, expecting! He is at rest, expecting everything to turn out exactly as God has said.
That's exactly what we need to be doing. God has "raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus" (Eph. 2:6).
So we don't have any more business wringing our hands than Jesus Himself does! We should be at rest, expecting the devil and all his works to be put under our feet!
The Sin of Worry
Written by Kenneth E. Hagin
The morning after I became born again, I asked my family to bring me the Bible. I got blessed just looking at the cover, where it said, "Holy Bible." Then I looked inside. I got blessed just reading the table of contents. Oh, when you're born again, the whole Bible becomes alive and new to you!
The sin that I had a great problem to get rid of was the sin of worry. (That statement always goes over big because most people still have that sin, and they don't want to acknowledge that it's wrong.)
I never had any trouble with lying. After I got born again, I never wanted to lie anymore. I haven't had any problem with that one at all. And I never had any problem with other sins. No, the toughest time I had was with this worry business.
The doctor had recently warned me, "You could go at any minute," so I thought, I'll start in the New Testament since my time is limited. I am going to get in here in a hurry and find out what belongs to me.
I opened to Matthew. Then I prayed, "Lord, before I ever start reading, I promise You this: I make this covenant with You. I'll never doubt anything that I read in Your Word. And the moment I read it and understand it, I'll put it into practice.
I got as far as Matthew 6 and read verse 34. "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."
I was reading out of a New Testament, because it was lighter and easier for me to hold. It had a footnote at the bottom of the page. It referred me to Philippians 4:6: "Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God."
It also referred me to First Peter 5:7: "Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." Then whoever wrote the footnotes said, "God doesn't want you to worry or be anxious about anything."
I was just a youngster—just fifteen years old (this was a little before my sixteenth birthday). You talk about worrying—I was taught to worry from the time I was a little child. I was actually a "worrywart." Do you know what a "worrywart" is? I was one of them. My mother and grandmother were world champion worriers, and I had learned to worry from them.
When I first became bedfast, I had two doctors. Finally, there were five doctors on my case. They didn't tell me much about what was wrong with me. When you're an invalid, you can lie there and imagine that everything in the world is wrong with you. And you're sure taking thought about tomorrow, because you may not even be here tomorrow!
But I had just promised God, "I'll practice whatever I understand in Your Word." The Bible had been all light, joy, and a blessing to me. But the further I got into Matthew, it became dark, with no joy, no blessing, and no reality to it. So I stopped to check up. I asked myself, What's wrong here?
Matthew 6 kept popping up. I heard in my spirit, "You said you'd put into practice whatever you read and understood."
"Dear Lord," I said, "if a person's got to live like Matthew 6 said, I'll never make it. I can't live without worrying. That's as much a part of me as my hands and feet!"
I went on reading, but I never got a thing out of it. That was the twenty-third day of April 1933, and it took me until July 4 to get out of the sixth chapter of Matthew.
I never will forget July 4, 1933. I had a pity party all day. I cried all day long. I was sure I couldn't do what Matthew 6 said.
I was feeling sorry for myself. I couldn't live like the Bible said to live, and besides that, I was dying. And I wanted to blame it all on God.
If I were preaching here against using tobacco, a lot of people would jump up and down and shout, "Praise God, that's right, brother—preach it!" But the sin of worry is worse than the sin of tobacco. God doesn't want you to be bound by any habit, but the habit of worry is worse than the tobacco habit!
Doctors have told me that there are more people sick in hospitals, mental institutions—and already dead—because of worry than any other cause. Worry will kill you. (Tobacco will just half kill you, and you'll stink while you're dying. But worry will kill you.)
I turned back to Matthew 6 and read it. After I finished verse 34, I said, "All right, Lord. Forgive me. I repent. I repent for worrying. And I promise You this day I'll never worry again the longest day I live. I promise You this day I'll never be discouraged again. I promise You this day I'll never have the blues again."
Thank God I haven't—and I've passed up some marvelous opportunities, too!
I started practicing that as a teenager. It's easier if you start early in life; it's more difficult when you're older, because you've been going a certain way for many years. It's easier for me now. At first it was difficult, but I refused to worry.
I still had my physical condition. It still looked like I was going to die. Not only was I bedfast, but every day I would have three to five heart seizures or heart attacks. My heart would stop and I'd think it was never going to start again. I'd fight to stay alive with every fiber in my being. I wore all the varnish off of my bed, right down to the bare wood, just holding on. You hold on with everything you've got to stay here.
Right in the middle of one of those attacks, I turned loose. I turned everything over to the Lord, fell back on my pillow, and said, "Let 'er go. I know where I'm going, anyhow." I never had any more problems with fear. I still had the attacks, but they didn't bother me. I had cast that care upon the Lord.
So I started living that way—carefree. I never read a book on the subject; I just saw it in the Bible.
We are serious about you.
